The Massachusetts Test for Educator Licensure is run 5 times a year.  This state contract has been awarded to Pearson Education Inc..  Pearson then contracts out this jobs by hiring Chief Test Administrators, Assistant Chief Test Administrators.  It is then the responsibility of the Chief & Assistant Chief Test Administrators to hire the appropriate amount of Senior Test Administrators, Test Administrators, Hall Monitors & other appropriate staff as deemed necessary.

The test administration is run in a professional manner at various schools throughout Massachusetts.  This web page is dedicated to the registration at North Quincy High School.

During the day of the test, the test is divided into 2 sections.  The AM section is English Comprehension.  The PM section is the Subject Matter.  Each section is allotted 4 hours for completion.  Each class has from 1 to 25 examinees.
